Micro Project 5
One of the words that I was given was gravity, and I chose it because I felt that I could portray it the best. The object that I decided to use was one of the most overlooked things in my life that I use on a daily basis, a pen. After I decided that I wanted to use a pen I thought to myself that in a way it was "hidden" from most people's view because it is such a worthless item, at least economically, but it is still important in almost everyone's everyday lives. My next thought was how to show "gravity" with a pen, so I thought of what a pen resembles and I came up with raindrops. I felt that raindrops were a good representation of what gravity does to objects in the physical world, which is basically a downward attraction towards the ground. The next step that I took was to use photoshop to add the pens to a picture of a cloudy day in the african savanna. I made the pens in the picture somewhat transparent because they are a transparent object in our everyday lives, in other words we take them for granted.

Micro Project 4
The Power that I chose to represent myself with was Telekinesis. I chose this power because I feel that the control over your mind is the ultimate superpower and that you can change the world however you please, be it through destruction or creation. It really took me all of 10 seconds to figure out that this was the Power I wanted to try and portray myself having. The process that I had to create this image was to go through the internet and find pictures of random objects that I feel would show the power of the mind, from the smallest object, like a garbage can, to the largest, like a piece of a building, and have them floating up into the air to show power. I feel like I could have spent a little longer on the aesthetics and making it more streamlined. But otherwise I feel like I captured an accurate portrayal of mind power.

Micro Project 3
Well I chose the top of the 9th Ave. garage on South campus to be my spot because I go up there a lot to think and figure things out about myself because it is secluded and also has an amazing view of campus and the downtown skyline. I felt like I could express myself the most through this spot and also the background's of the pictures I took. The reason that I chose to take a picture of my X-box 360 and superimpose it into the picture of my "spot" was because it, unfortunately for my schoolwork, is one of my prized possessions and a good representation of myself and what I do for most of my free time when I am not running around doing things. It has been that way for me since I was around 7 years old when I received my first Nintendo 64 for my birthday. If someone were to go up to that spot and see the Xbox I wouldn't mind if they touched it, just as long as they did not break it. I am a very easy going, laid back person when it comes to my possessions.
